Three New Children to Love

Last week we were brought three new children, this time from a nearby town. They are in need of lots of love and security, but we have seen in a few days that they have already settled in well and are happy here. Juan, who is 6, started school today, and José (5) and Katia (2) love playing in the play room and in our big yard. The other children in the home are happy to have more playmates. We will soon be looking for sponsors for these children.

Our Children Love Visitors

It is always so exciting for our children to recieve visitors. They love the extra attention and love they recieve. Here Katia is given hugs from Katie´s sister Christy who came for a week.

Julio Turns 8

We celebrated Julio's 8th birthday with hamburgers, cake and jello and a pinata. He loved his gifts and is finally learning the art of giving thanks for gifts recieved.

Fun in the Sun

The kids spend hours out it the sun in a sand pile digging and making pretend food.

Children's Home Inauguration

We had a very fun, full, and significante inauguration on October 17th. Around 100 people attended from around town and other surrounding towns. Elements of the inaguration were a ribbon cutting, speaches by varios people, the kids singing and a special prayer of dedication.
