San Marcos is a small town in the state of Jalisco situated about an hour and a half´s drive from Guadalajara. The town is surrounded by corn and sugar cane fields and beautiful hills. San Marcos is known for its hand made pottery and obsidian stone work. Its clean air and small-town atmosphere make it the ideal place for a Children´s Home.
