There are always construction projects on the go on the Children´s Home property. Maybe you would like to make a donation towards one of these projects. Or how about coming down to work on a project yourself? There are so many ways for you to help.
Current Projects:
Finishing the storage shed/pantry. Walls are up and the roof is half finished but the shed still needs more roofing, flooring, walls plastered and painted, and shelves set up. Total estimated cost: $4000 dollars
Water-proofing the roof of the Children´s Home. (URGENT NEED) Up until now we have painted the roof with water-sealer but water still leaks through, wetting rooms on the upper level. Tiling on the roof is needed in some areas and in other areas a second raised metal roof is needed which will give shading on the roof as well as keep the rain off. Total estimated cost: $3000 - $5000 dollars
A big thank-you to the church in Ohio who gave funds to buy the washable paint for the downstairs dining-room, hallway and kitchen and to the church in Guadalajara who came to do the painting! The walls look so nice and are so much easier to clean now! God bless you!
